Jude Bellingham joins Real Madrid
English midfielder makes record-breaking move to Spanish giants
Bellingham, 21, has become the third most-expensive teenage footballer in the world after completing a €103 million move from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid.
The England international has signed a six-year contract with the Spanish club, who have been linked with a move for the midfielder for several months.
Bellingham has been one of the most highly-rated young players in Europe since breaking into the Birmingham City first team as a 16-year-old in 2019.
He moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2020 and has since established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga.
Bellingham has also been a regular for England, making his debut in 2020 and playing a key role in the team's run to the Euro 2020 final.
His move to Real Madrid is a major coup for the Spanish club, who are looking to rebuild their squad after a disappointing season last year.
Bellingham is expected to play a key role for Real Madrid in the coming seasons, and he could make his debut for the club in the UEFA Champions League group stage match against Celtic on September 6.
