Early Life and Career

Cori Dionne "Coco" Gauff was born on March 13, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia. She began playing tennis at the age of 8 and quickly rose through the ranks of junior tennis. Gauff won the junior singles titles at both the French Open and Wimbledon in 2018 and turned professional later that year.

Grand Slam Success

Gauff has had great success in Grand Slam tournaments. In 2019, she reached the fourth round of the Wimbledon Championships at just 15 years old, becoming the youngest player to do so in the Open Era. She has since gone on to reach the second week of several other Grand Slam tournaments, including the French Open, US Open, and Australian Open.
